The reason for choosing fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) for the flue duct in the integrated chimney and cooling tower project of thermal power plants is its excellent corrosion resistance, durability, long service life, and cost savings. The service life of FRP flue ducts is up to 30 years, matching the life cycle of thermal power plants, avoiding economic losses and troubles caused by replacement shutdowns, and saving anticorrosion costs.
