Product Overview
Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics (FRP) are widely used in industries such as chlor-alkali, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, fermentation and brewing, potash fertilizers, and compound fertilizers (NPK) due to their light weight, high strength, wide corrosion resistance, and good designability.
In the design of tower equipment, different corrosive media requirements can be met by changing the materials of the lining and internal components, or the resin and fiber types; while through finite element analysis, changing the resin and fiber types of the structural layer and adjusting the lamination method can meet the strength requirements under corresponding temperature and pressure.
The production, inspection, and acceptance of PVC/PP linings and internal components strictly follow the HG20640-1997 standard for "Plastic Equipment", while the reinforced FRP strictly follows the HG/T20696-2018 standard for "Technical Specifications for Fiber Reinforced Plastic Chemical Equipment".
Product Features
* Light weight: The density of FRP is 1.5~1.9G/CM3, which is 1/4 that of steel, but its strength is higher;
* Corrosion resistance: By selecting different types of resins, it can resist various acids, alkalis, salts, and various oils and solvents, and can be widely used in all aspects of chemical corrosion protection, replacing stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, and other materials to reduce costs;
* Smooth inner wall, easy to clean: Roughness coefficient N=0.0084, good hygiene performance, resistance to microbial corrosion, if food-grade resin is used as the base, it is non-toxic and tasteless, ensuring the hygiene requirements of the stored medium;
* Good low-temperature resistance: It can be used at temperatures as low as -80℃, suitable for cold regions;
* The coefficient of thermal expansion is 2×10-5/℃, and the thermal conductivity is 0.2Kcal(m2h.℃), with good thermal insulation performance;
* Easy to mold, easy to repair: Especially suitable for equipment with complex structures, large containers can be wound on-site as a whole.
